Snowman Baubles
ried this a few years ago and they turned out really well!
I came across the idea on www.littlebitfunky.com
She explains very well how to do it so click above to see the instructions.
I have a few pieces of advice just to add to it! First time I did this, I used white poster paint instead of acrylic because we didn't have white acrylic when I went looking for it, so I decided I'd chance it with the poster paint but it does not work half as well! The poster paint started chipping off when we used the markers over it!
Secondly, when I did this, I was very slow to let my class at my beloved Sharpie collection so I picked up Sharpie's much cheaper cousin in Dealz.
Fair warning with these markers, you absolutely get what you pay for. Many of them broke very quickly but they served their purpose well! You could buy 5 packets of these for less than a packet of Sharpies will cost you.
When I did this activity, I picked up a packet of navy baubles that were reduced in Tesco. Looking at their website, I can't see that they have them this year (though they may be in the shops) but you could really use any colour that the white will stand out from! These ones from Dealz would work fine!
Ideally, all the children could bring in a bauble from home for this activity, just make sure that they are smooth and don't have any jewels or patterns already on them.
Happy bauble making!
